Customer Code of Conduct
Kevel operates an API-based ad server that is used by some of the most well-respected and well-known brands on the Internet. Due to this, all of our customers must adhere to and follow all these guidelines. In addition, Kevel’s customers must abide by applicable laws and regulations, including the applicable data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
Although the below guidelines cannot be exhaustive, we explicitly honor diversity in age, gender, gender identity or expression, culture, ethnicity, language, national origin, political beliefs, profession, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, and technical ability. We will not tolerate discrimination based on any of the protected characteristics above.
Because of this, Kevel reserves the right to reject or remove customers from the platform at Kevel’s sole discretion. Kevel also reserves the right to change and/or modify these guidelines at any time. All changes will be posted here to this site.

Content Restrictions
Any business or organization that utilizes the Kevel platform to serve ads or disseminate content that engages in, promotes, encourages or celebrates the following content will not be tolerated by Kevel.
Harassment and Violence/Violent Speech
This includes, but is not limited to, content that:
- Contains offensive comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, mental illness, neuro(a)typicality, physical appearance, body size, race, age, regional discrimination, political or religious affiliation
- Makes unwelcome criticism related to lifestyle choices and practices, including those related to food, health, parenting, drugs, and employment
- Deliberately misgenders an individual. This includes deadnaming or persistently using a pronoun that does not correctly reflect a person’s gender identity
- Deliberately “outs” any aspect of a person’s identity without their consent except as necessary to protect others from intentional abuse
- Publishes non-harassing private communications
- Defames or threatens any group or individuals
- Promotes disenfranchisement or harassment of groups or individuals
- Promotes groups that assert supremacy on the basis of race, sex, nationality, religious affiliation, age or sexual orientation
- Promotes, glorifies or condones violence against others
- Provides information about, or advocates for, suicide or other forms of self-harm
- Publishes private and/or identifying information of an individual, with or without malicious intent
Illegal Pornographic Material
This includes, but is not limited to, content that:
- Depicts, links to, refers to, or otherwise causes to appear, any material Kevel reasonably believes to constitute or solicit illegal pornographic activity, including but not limited to child pornography, pedophilia, incest, bestiality.
Firearms and Weapons
This includes, but is not limited to, content that:
- Promotes or facilitates the illegal sale of ammunition, firearms, guns, air guns, explosives, bombs, fireworks, knives or weapons of any kind
- Teaches how to make bombs or other explosives, or provides explicit instructions on how to harm or kill
Illegal Activity
This includes all content that fails to comply with all applicable laws, including, but not limited to, Sites that contain, promote or otherwise facilitate:
- Illegal downloads
- Human trafficking or prostitution
- Sales of illegal goods or services
- Creating or obtaining fake or false documents such as passports or other false identification
- Information regarding, or products for, passing drug tests
- Hacking or cracking
- Infringement or violation of any third-party intellectual property rights (such as copyright infringement)
- Infringement or violation of privacy laws
- Counterfeit goods or currency
Animal Cruelty
This includes, but is not limited to, content that:
- Promotes cruelty or gratuitous violence towards animals
- May be interpreted as trading in, or selling products derived from, threatened or extinct species
Sensitive Information
This includes, but is not limited to, content that:
- Contains Protected Health Information as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH).
- Contains an individual’s sensitive payment or other financial information
Other Prohibited Activities
Engaging in any activity that, in Kevel’s sole and absolute discretion, disrupts, interferes with or is harmful to (or threatens to disrupt, interfere with, or be harmful to) to Services, Kevel’s business interests, operations, reputation, goodwill, or the ability of Kevel’s subscribers to effectively use to Services.
