What is Media Owner Mode?

Retail media networks operate two distinct roles: the advertisers who buy placements, and the media owners who run the program. Media Owner Mode is a dedicated workspace for the operators — the teams responsible for the health, growth, and strategy of the entire ad program.

It surfaces the business intelligence that program managers, ad ops teams, and executive stakeholders actually need: not campaign-level performance, but inventory health, revenue sustainability, demand-side concentration, and long-term yield.

Who and what is this for

This is for business managers on the media owner side who are responsible for the strategic direction and revenue sustainability of the retail media program. They use the Ad Program Insights area to:

  • Board prep/ leadership presentations. Summarize the health of your ad program — revenue, fill rate, demand breadth — with the right level of context for executive stakeholders. Show the trend, not just the number.
  • Business reviews with advertisers. Walk into partner meetings with a clear picture of investment, placement performance, ROAS, and what opportunities exist to grow the relationship — new zones or ad type approaches.
  • Ops strategies for inventory and yield optimization. Identify areas with high ad opportunity counts but low fill rates. Understand where unfilled impressions are coming from and what levers — floor prices, new demand partners, better placements — could unlock more revenue.
  • Demand concentration monitoring. Spot when too much of your revenue depends on a single advertiser — and use the AI to think through how to diversify. Track quarter-over-quarter advertiser count and spend distribution.

3 ways to explore your data

  • Ad Program Insights dashboard. A curated view built for business managers. Pre-configured metrics, time-series charts, and comparisons designed for board presentations and advertiser business reviews.
  • Business performance and Inventory explorers. Build your own pivot tables. Slice any combination of metrics — ad spend, ROAS, CTR, conversions — by advertiser, site, zone, ad type, or channel. Export what you need.
  • AI assistant. An AI chat panel is embedded directly in the dashboard and the explorer tabs. Ask questions about your data in plain language and get instant, context-aware answers — without switching tools or pulling a report manually.

Dashboard sections

  • Inventory. Impressions, fill rate, ad opportunities, unfilled impressions, decisions, CPM over time and estimated value gap. Understand the health and utilization of your ad inventory at a glance.
  • Revenue. Ad spend split by site and advertiser. Identify concentration risk, channel trends, and which demand sources are growing or contracting on a quarter-over-quarter basis.
🚧

Incomplete Data Notice: Flat-Rate Flights Revenue from flat-rate flights is currently excluded from these figures; this dashboard is limited to event-based billing only.

Timeline & Accuracy:
Baseline: Data is reliable from January 2026 onwards.
Full Visibility: Starting June 2026, we will introduce a lookback window to provide historical context for the majority of metrics.

  • Performance. Clicks, purchases, conversion value, CPC, CTR, and ROAS — both in aggregate and broken down by advertiser and ad type. Understand where your inventory is converting and where there's room to improve.

Coming Next

Ad Ops-related use cases will follow shortly, with a stronger focus on day-to-day inventory and relationship management with advertisers.
